Role Description The Supervisor Hotel role is a contract, on-site position based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role oversees hotel operations related to exhibitions and conventions, including coordinating guest services, supervising front-of-house activities, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes for attendees and exhibitors. The Supervisor Hotel manages communication between event organizers, hotel staff, and guests to maintain high service standards and resolve issues promptly. Daily responsibilities include monitoring food and beverage services for event participants, aligning hospitality services with event requirements, and providing guidance and support to hotel staff. The role also involves implementing service procedures, maintaining quality and safety standards, and preparing basic reports on operations and guest feedback.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with guests, hotel teams, and event organizers.
- Proven Customer Service experience, with the ability to handle inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including coordination of catering services and understanding of service standards.
- Background in Hospitality, preferably in hotel or event environments, with familiarity in front-of-house and guest relations.
- Experience in Training hotel or service staff to follow procedures, deliver consistent service, and support event requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in coordinating multiple moving parts.
- Ability to work on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia, with flexibility during event periods, including weekends or extended hours when needed.
- Relevant education in hospitality, tourism, or business management is beneficial; prior supervisory experience is an advantage.
