About the Role
As an F&B Cost Controller & Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all Food & Beverage inventory and cost control activities across the business. The role requires a highly organized and analytical professional capable of managing stock movements, monitoring purchasing costs, maintaining accurate inventory records, and producing detailed cost reports.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming Food & Beverage deliveries.
- Monitor stock movements and inventory levels.
- Manage and maintain the inventory management software (StockTake).
- Conduct regular Food & Beverage inventories and stock audits.
- Support Chefs and Managers with inventory counts and stock control activities.
- Monitor food and beverage costs and prepare periodic reports.
- Maintain purchasing, supplier, and stock-related documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
- Support profitability and operational efficiency by maintaining optimal stock levels and implementing effective cost control procedures.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Cost Control, Inventory Control, Stock Controller, or similar roles within the hospitality or Food & Beverage sector.
- Hands-on experience conducting Food & Beverage inventories.
- Experience using inventory management software; StockTake experience is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Required Skills
- Fluent Italian and French are mandatory.
- English is considered a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage cost control and inventory management.
