Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a compassionate, service-focused Part-Time Dining Room Attendant to support our senior residents and help create warm, welcoming dining experiences. As part of the Food & Beverage Operations team within our hospitality-driven senior living community, you will play a key role in making mealtimes safe, enjoyable, and social for residents.
In this role, you will prepare the dining room before each meal service by setting tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and inviting. During service, you will greet residents and guests with patience and respect, assist them to and from tables when needed, take and deliver orders accurately, and respond promptly to requests or concerns. You will handle dishes, beverages, and light food items according to basic food safety and sanitation standards, and you will help maintain a tidy, hazard-free environment by clearing tables, cleaning spills, and following proper procedures for bussing, dish handling, and waste disposal.
You will work closely with kitchen and activities staff to support a vibrant, community-centered atmosphere that reflects our focus on enriching the lives of older adults. This includes being attentive to special dietary needs or mobility limitations, communicating clearly about any resident concerns, and treating every interaction as an opportunity to provide kindness and dignity. The position requires standing and walking for extended periods, occasional lifting and carrying of supplies or trays, and the ability to work a flexible, part-time schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on resident needs.
