Junior Sous Chef: £40k package – Burgess Hill area, all fresh food, 3 evenings off a week and 2.5 days off per week Own Transport essential and you must be living and working in the UK and have Right to Work/Settlement Status. If you are on any form of Visa we cannot help you. 2.5 days off per week, so 3 evenings off per week, and you will be out of the kitchen between 9.15pm and 9.30pm Monday to Saturday and by 7.30pm on a Sunday evening.

On average our Chefs stay with us for about 6 years. Privately owned family run restaurant and bar with 150 covers is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join their brigade of 9. Here we cook fresh seasonal dishes everyday with specials. Our cuisine is modern British with some classics and some contemporary dishes. We are a ‘work hard”play hard’ culture in a supportive friendly atmosphere.

Experience We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef who can cook to a high level using all fresh ingredients, has innovation, creativity and great attention to detail. A Chef who can prepare, cook and present all fresh food to Rosette Standard and enjoys working within a friendly team. Ideally a background in gastro pubs or restaurant and who enjoys working in a fast paced kitchen.

Salary & Benefits up to £40k on target earnings tips paid weekly and bonus paid annually £6,000k 45 – 50 hour week 4.5 days over 7 days (mix of splits and straights) 3 evenings off per week

Working hours:

9.15am to 3.30pm, Break, 5.30pm to 9.15pm Kitchen closes at 7pm on a Sunday evening 2 days off together per week plus another half day Performance bonus/Xmas bonus Free parking Free meals on duty Must be living and working in the UK or have Right to Work/Settlement Status.
