Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Hospitality Operations Assistant whose primary responsibility is to help maintain the quality and consistency of our vacation rental operations.
Your primary role is to support daily operations by coordinating with our cleaning team, inspecting completed work, ensuring every property meets Axio’s quality standards, and helping deliver an exceptional guest experience.
To effectively supervise quality, every Operations Assistant is trained in professional vacation rental cleaning techniques and company standards. Understanding the work firsthand enables you to coach others, perform accurate inspections, identify opportunities for improvement, and maintain consistency across all managed properties.
Cleaning is considered an operational responsibility—not the primary function of the role. However, during peak periods or when staffing shortages occur, you may temporarily perform turnover cleanings to ensure uninterrupted guest service and operational excellence.

ResponsibilitiesOperations & Quality Control
- Coordinate daily cleaning schedules and operational readiness
- Inspect completed turnover cleanings before guest arrivals
- Ensure properties consistently meet Axio quality standards
- Coach and reinforce cleaning procedures and best practices
- Monitor inventory levels and restock amenities
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs
- Help improve operational systems and efficiency
Guest Services
- Welcome guests and assist with luggage storage
- Communicate with guests before, during, and after their stay
- Help create exceptional guest experiences
- Respond to operational requests professionally
Property Management Support
- Assist with administrative tasks
- Support property managers with daily operations
- Coordinate vendors and maintenance appointments
- Assist with documentation and reporting
Business Operations
Depending on your interests and experience, additional opportunities may include:

Qualifications
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn

- Reliable transportation and good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Required Skills
- Basic to intermediate computer proficiency
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Comfortable using cloud-based software, mobile apps, and online communication tools
- Ability to create professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience with Canva for creating flyers, social media content, or marketing materials
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar productivity tools
- Hospitality, customer service, supervisory, or vacation rental experience
- Property management software or CRM experience
- Social media or digital marketing experience
No prior hospitality experience is required. We are happy to train the right candidate with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to grow.
