Lead Welcome Enthusiast (Front Office Manager)
Essential Functions
- Operate the front office efficiently and profitably, overseeing Front Desk staff, Night Audit, van drivers, and security.
- Delegate duties and ensure logical work processes.
- Maintain adequate staffing at all times.
- Interpret and enforce brand quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Control and analyze departmental costs and keep spending within budget.
- Execute human‑resources tasks such as hiring, performance appraisals, coaching, and training.
- Resolve guest complaints and comments regarding the hotel and department.
- Coordinate teamwork with other departments.
- Manage room inventory and day‑of‑arrival availability.
- Ensure smooth arrival preparations for all guests.
- Meet all audit requirements for the department.
- Train staff in emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Monitor cash handling and correct any deficiencies.
- Maintain logs and reports to follow up on unresolved items.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Act as a team player and interact with internal and external customers courteously.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and exceed expectations.
- Prioritize and organize work to produce required volume.
- Adhere to attendance, grooming, appearance, and work‑rules policies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all guest and employee incident procedures.
- Attend all department and hotel meetings.
Supervisory Responsibility
Supervise staff, coach, train, and evaluate employees. Prepare and conduct performance reviews and submit time‑card approvals.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of front office management experience, preferably in a high‑end boutique brand.
- Strong knowledge of Hilton brand and OnQ system.
- Proficiency with accounting programs, math skills, and budget analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of the hotel’s services and facilities.
- Ability to comply with federal, state, and local health, safety, and employment laws.
- Effective communication in a multilingual environment.
- Passion for Sherman Associates mission, vision, and values.
- Team‑oriented attitude and flexibility for varied shift schedules.
Work Environment
Professional office setting using computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged sitting or standing at a desk.
- Frequent movement around the property and office.
- Ability to reach across the property promptly.
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Good grasping, writing, standing, and walking ability.

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range: $55,000–65,000 per year.
