Role Description
This freelance on-site role in Rotterdam is for a Festival & Event Runner. Day of the event: Saturday 26 September 2026. The position entails assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of the festival on the day itself. Responsibilities include managing event logistics, supporting artists and crew, troubleshooting issues during events, and ensuring seamless operations. From preparing venues prior to events to assisting with costumes, equipment, or administrative tasks, the Concert & Event Runner plays a vital role in making each event successful.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate logistics and run essential errands, including sourcing supplies, pickups, and timely deliveries
- Assist with artist and crew transportation, ensuring smooth and punctual pick-ups and drop-offs
- Provide backstage support by setting up spaces, maintaining organization, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the event
- Support on-the-day production needs, including equipment handling and document distribution
- Apply knowledge of vegetarian food and menu options to assist with catering coordination and artist/crew requirements
