From premium corporate functions to major island celebrations, our Events team plays a key role in creating seamless, memorable moments for every guest.
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our Events Department. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about service excellence, team development, and operational success.

Your Role
As the Food & Beverage Supervisor – Events, you will support the Events Management Team in delivering smooth, high-quality event operations. You’ll lead from the front, coordinating service delivery, mentoring team members, and ensuring company standards are consistently met across all events.
Where you’ll make an impact
- Coordinate equipment setup and event preparation alongside the Events Team
- Address guest requests, enquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Prioritise health and safety compliance, including dietary requirements
- Train, mentor and support team members to maintain service standards
- Assist in identifying staff development needs and implementing training
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cashiering
- Communicate effectively and regularly with the management team
- Maintain a hands-on presence during events to ensure service excellence
What we’re looking for
You’re an experienced events or hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for developing teams. You bring a positive attitude, a calm approach under pressure, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
To be successful, you will need:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Food & Beverage and/or Events
- Demonstrated experience in banqueting, conferences and events
- Supervisory experience in banqueting (desirable)
- Strong beverage, wine and cocktail knowledge
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on training and mentoring
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Current Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Basic computer skills
- Impeccable grooming and personal presentation
