About the Role

The Virtual Event & Occasion Planner is an entry-level, remote position designed for individuals who enjoy engaging with people, discussing travel experiences, and assisting clients in planning vacations and special trips. This role serves as a trusted resource for customers, providing guidance throughout the travel planning and booking process while delivering exceptional customer service.

No prior industry experience is required. Successful candidates will receive support and hands-on learning opportunities while developing expertise in travel coordination and customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Client Support

  • Provide friendly, professional support through phone, email, and messaging platforms.
  • Assist clients throughout the travel planning and booking process.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide timely solutions to concerns.
  • Maintain consistent communication to ensure a positive customer experience.

Travel Planning & Coordination

  • Help clients research, select, and reserve travel options, including:
  • Cruises
  • Resorts
  • Flights
  • Vacation packages
  • Review travel itineraries, payment schedules, and travel documentation.
  • Research destinations, promotions, and travel opportunities based on client preferences.
  • Assist with modifications and basic booking-related issues.

Administrative & Organizational Support

  • Maintain accurate customer records and booking information.
  • Utilize travel platforms and booking tools effectively.
  • Ensure attention to detail when processing reservations and travel arrangements.
  • Stay informed about travel products, destinations, and industry updates.

Requirements
