Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Special Events at COQTALES in Amsterdam. The director of events oversees the planning and execution of our weekly events. This entails coordinating accommodations, venues, staffing, catering, transportation, and equipment for sound or video. You will additionally manage budgets, negotiate pricing with various vendors, and do sales on a day-to-day basis. This role has lots of space for growth, and ideally involves developing the business further by working on new creative show concepts, both national and international.
Qualifications
- You have a minimum of 4 years experience in Events managing skills
- Event Planning, Event Management, and Event Production skills
- Budgeting and Sales experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in the entertainment or hospitality industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business or related field
- Must be living in the Netherlands
