Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the kitchen team, including cooks and food service staff
- Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes with attention to presentation and flavor
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes and standards
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Lead kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and maintain high performance levels
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation effectively
- Enforce food safety protocols and ensure all health regulations are strictly followed
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality within the kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management within the food industry
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary setting is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including food service procedures and hospitality best practices
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with staff and front-of-house teams
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred

Pay: $3,000.00-$3,500.00 per month
