Role Description The Catering Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad, responsible for overseeing daily catering operations and ensuring smooth service delivery. This role coordinates food preparation and service schedules, supervises catering staff, and monitors food quality, presentation, and portion control. The Catering Supervisor ensures that hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently met in the kitchen and service areas. The role includes communicating with clients and internal teams to understand event requirements, managing setup and breakdown of catering events, and handling on-the-spot issues during service. The Catering Supervisor is also responsible for basic inventory checks, assisting in ordering supplies, training team members on service standards, and supporting continuous improvement in guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong supervisory skills with experience leading and motivating food service or hospitality teams.
  • Knowledge of food preparation and food service operations, with attention to quality, timing, and presentation.
  • Understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards, with the ability to enforce compliance.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with staff, management, and clients during planning and events.
  • Prior experience in catering, banquets, restaurants, or hotel food & beverage operations is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on guest satisfaction and service recovery.
  • Diploma or certificate in Hotel Management, Catering, or a related field is an advantage.
