Position Overview: Civilian Hotel is seeking a reliable, organized, and guest-focused Breakfast Attendant to oversee the daily breakfast service. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining the buffet-style breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness, providing excellent guest service, and coordinating with the Front Office team to create a smooth and welcoming morning experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and prepare the buffet-style breakfast each morning, ensuring all food and beverage items are properly displayed and replenished.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area throughout service.
Greet guests warmly and assist them with any breakfast-related questions or needs.
Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a tidy and welcoming dining environment.
Wash dishes, utensils, and breakfast service equipment as needed during and after service.
Operate the POS system to ring up breakfast purchases when applicable.
Communicate effectively with the Front Office team regarding guest needs, service updates, or operational concerns.
Monitor breakfast inventory and maintain active stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
Notify the Manager on Duty (MOD) when inventory items are running low to ensure continuous service.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Assist with breakfast breakdown and cleaning after service concludes.
Qualifications
Previous hospitality or food service experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate supplies.
Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
