LPM Restaurant & Bar is a renowned French Mediterranean dining destination, known for its exceptional cuisine, elegant ambiance, and world-class wine program. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Wine & Beverage Manager to lead and elevate our beverage offerings in our Boston location.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Wine & Beverage Manager will oversee all aspects of the beverage program, with a strong focus on wine selection, service standards, and team training. This role is ideal for a wine expert with leadership experience in a high-volume, fine dining environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a creative and profitable beverage program, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
  • Manage daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional service, quality, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor bar staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
  • Maintain inventory control, ordering, and supplier relationships to optimize cost and reduce waste.
  • Analyze sales and financial reports to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with culinary and management teams to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative beverage concepts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Curate, develop, and maintain an exceptional wine list aligned with LPM’s brand and standards
  • Manage all beverage operations, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic offerings
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, cost controls, and inventory.
  • Passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Certification in mixology or sommelier credentials is a plus.
  • Monitor inventory, control costs, and ensure proper stock levels
  • Train and mentor staff on wine knowledge, pairing, and service standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary team on menu pairings and seasonal updates
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol regulations
  • Maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction
