Qualifications:
- Ability to work well with limited supervision.
- Ability to communicate and present yourself in a courteous, professional manner with guests, team and management.
- Must have a strong work ethic and also display a high degree of pride and integrity in job performance.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Must hold a valid Smart Serve Certification.
- Knowledge of principles, values and processes for providing superior guest service.
- Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Stand, walk and remain on feet and perform job duties for entire duration of your shift.
Job Description:
The Server & Bartender are responsible for ensuring the highest standards of hospitality are always demonstrated when assisting and serving guests of the hotel.
- Follow all procedures as outlined in the Banquet Services Manual.
- Follow all “Standard Bar Operating Procedures”.
- Provide value added service to customers to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Handle difficult guest inquiries effectively or refer them to your supervisor when unsure or require assistance.
- Ensure customer needs are met and followed up in a timely manner.
- Other related duties as required.
