Description
Purpose of Position:
Support the operation to deliver superior guest service by performing duties such as stocking and retrieving products, sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, removing trash, and performing clean‑up tasks.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Stocks, stores, and retrieves products as needed.
- Maintains and assists in the proper cleaning and sanitizing of tables, equipment, floors, cookware, utensils, and other items.
- Ensures all spills are removed promptly to avoid slips, falls, or other safety hazards.
- Monitors trash receptacles to avoid overflow and ensures bins are kept clean.
- May assist guests by carrying trays to seating areas.
- Follows safe food handling and proper hygiene practices.
- Adheres to workplace safety standards for operating and maintaining equipment, reporting any malfunction to management immediately.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- One to three months related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read, speak, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Reasonable understanding in carrying out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Physical ability to stand continuously (100%) and walk (50%), lift and carry 0–60 lbs., and stoop or bend as needed.
