We are currently hiring for the role of an Banquet Operation Manager with a Leading Banquet in Mumbai.
Designation: Banquets Operation Manager
Loc: Chembur
Salary: upto 50k
Qualification: Graduate
Shift: Day Shift (Event-Based Timings – 9 Hours)
Week Off: Any 1 Day (Rotational)
Salary: ₹45,000 – ₹50,000 per month
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Banquet Operations Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end banquet and event operations. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless execution of events while delivering exceptional guest experience and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events including weddings, corporate events, conferences, and social gatherings
- Understand client requirements and ensure all expectations are met or exceeded
- Manage banquet staff (servers, stewards, setup teams) and ensure high service standards
- Prepare event timelines, layouts, and floor plans for smooth execution
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for timely delivery and quality service
- Supervise event setup and breakdown as per client specifications and company standards
- Monitor inventory of banquet supplies, equipment, and linens; coordinate for replenishment
- Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
- Handle on-ground issues during events efficiently and professionally
- Implement best practices to enhance guest experience and drive repeat business
Requirements:
- Proven experience in banquet/event management (Hotel, Resort, or Banquet setup preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and client-handling abilities
- Good organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of banquet operations (setup, service, breakdown)
- Understanding of health & safety and food hygiene standards
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
