Summary
- Under the direction of the F&B Operations Manager, the Service Associate is responsible for mise-en-place, service, cashiering and maximization of guest satisfaction in the outlet
- Ensure compliance with service standards specific to Chinese Cuisine
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively
- Take orders and serve food and beverages
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Practice economy of food, beverage, paper supplies, electricity and water (practice recycling whenever possible)
- Check inventory in sections appointed for daily requisition
- Provide menu recommendations and answer guest questions & enquiries
- Assign seats, take orders and recommend dishes and beverages
- Perform any duties assigned by the Management Team deemed necessary
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Able to work independently
- Pleasant, service-oriented and outgoing personality
- Able to work under pressure, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
