Role Description The Event Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events across Roadhouse properties and partner venues. The role includes developing event concepts aligned with the brand, creating detailed event plans and budgets, coordinating logistics, and managing vendors, suppliers, and internal teams. The Event Manager will oversee event timelines, setup, guest flow, and post-event breakdown, ensuring all standards of service, safety, and quality are met. This role also involves collaborating with marketing and operations to promote events, managing guest communication and feedback, and preparing post-event reports and recommendations. The Event Manager is expected to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members, and to continuously improve event experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong event planning and coordination skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management.
- Proven ability in on-site event execution, logistics oversight, and troubleshooting under time pressure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Experience in hospitality, F&B, or hotel events, preferably within multi-outlet or multi-property environments.
- Competence in using office productivity tools and basic event management or project management software.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, respectful team collaboration and delivering high-quality guest experiences.
