Position Announcement
Utah Valley University Dining Services is seeking a student to assist with Catering Services’ dishwasher duties.
Dishwasher shift options: 7:00 am -1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Summary Of Responsibilities
Duties vary and include, but are not limited to:
- Day-to-day dishroom operations; proper sink, floor, and dishware care, and cleaning and safety procedures.
- Use proper cleaning techniques with all dining ware, dishware, and silverware.
- Maintaining the usage of supplies, chemicals, and equipment from the dishroom & laundry area.
- All student workers need to be friendly, helpful, and able to follow directions from their supervisor.
- Employees are required to arrive at work on time, in a clean uniform, and fulfill the duties assigned to them.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
- Must be a current UVU student.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to walk, bend, lift, push, and stand for extended periods of time.
