Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager – Food

Company: Bramwith Consulting

Location: Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland

Strategic Sourcing Manager – Food Categories | Dublin (Hybrid) | up to €75,000 + 10% bonus

We are working with a well-established international business that is strengthening its procurement capability and is now looking to appoint a Strategic Sourcing Manager within its food category team.

This is a key hire within the function and will focus on driving value across a range of food categories, with particular emphasis on fresh and short shelf-life products. The role sits within a fast-moving, commercially driven environment where procurement plays a central role in shaping supply chain performance and supplier strategy.

You will take ownership of key sourcing activity and play an important role in developing category approaches that balance cost, quality, continuity of supply, and operational requirements. The position also offers significant exposure to stakeholders across operations, supply chain, finance, and wider international teams.

This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to step into a more influential category role, with clear scope to develop as the procurement function continues to evolve and expand.

The role will involve:

  • Leading sourcing activity across defined food categories
  • Developing and implementing category and supplier strategies
  • Running end-to-end procurement processes including tendering and negotiation
  • Building effective long-term supplier relationships and performance management frameworks
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure supply continuity and efficiency
  • Using market insight to identify commercial and value improvement opportunities

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management roles
  • Background in food, FMCG, wholesale, contract catering, or retail environments
  • Exposure to fresh or perishable categories would be advantageous
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • CIPS qualification beneficial but not essential

This is a chance to join a growing procurement team where you will have real ownership, visibility across the business, and the opportunity to develop into more senior category leadership roles over time.
