About the Role
Johnny Q Group is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Checker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, verifying, and maintaining accurate stock records across our warehouse and event operations. This role also requires periodic visits to our Tobago branch to perform stock checks and ensure consistency across locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory verification: Conduct routine checks to ensure all items are accounted for and properly recorded.
- Quality control: Inspect hardware, plumbing, electrical items, and batteries for condition and usability.
- Stock reporting: Prepare accurate reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and damaged goods.
- Warehouse coordination: Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure smooth dispatch and replenishment processes.
- Repair identification: Flag items requiring maintenance or replacement before dispatch.
- Branch support: Travel to Tobago branch as needed to perform stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of hardware items, plumbing supplies, electrical components, and batteries.
- Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel to Tobago for branch support.
