Role Description
The South Asian Wedding Coordinator is a contract-based role based in New York City with on-site event support. The coordinator will assist with logistics such as décor setup, guest flow, cultural ceremony requirements, and contingency planning, ensuring each celebration runs smoothly. The role also requires close collaboration with the Taj Raj Events team to uphold service standards and deliver personalized, culturally informed wedding experiences.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Wedding Planning and Event Planning, with familiarity in South Asian and fusion wedding traditions. Specifically Anand Karaj/Punjabi Weddings.
- Experience in Event Management, including timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site logistics.
- Strong Customer Service abilities, with a focus on high-touch, luxury client experiences.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written correspondence and professional client and vendor interactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple events or tasks at once.
- Previous experience in wedding or event coordination is required.
