Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as SPOT ON POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance the guest experience and promote sales
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash register operations and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all service areas, adhering to food handling regulations
- Assist in food presentation, serving dishes promptly, and managing table turnovers efficiently
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, handle special requests, and resolve any concerns promptly
- Support bar management with inventory checks, restocking supplies, and maintaining a well-organized bar area
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively, welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation including mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, and spirits
- Experience using POS systems such as SPOT ON POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Familiarity with beverage recipe development to craft unique drinks that delight guests
- Prior bartending or serving experience in a hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
