Our client is a professional services firm. They seek a Senior Events Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of firm-wide events, including conferences, seminars, client receptions, webinars, and internal meetings
  • Develop event strategies aligned with business development, marketing, and brand objectives
  • Manage event budgets, vendor negotiations, contracts, and procurement processes
  • Coordinate logistics, including venues, travel, accommodations, catering, audiovisual needs, and production services
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, marketing teams, and practice groups to ensure event alignment with firm priorities
  • Oversee event timelines, project plans, and deliverables to ensure flawless execution
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners
  • Measure event performance through KPIs, attendance metrics, feedback, and ROI analysis
  • Ensure brand consistency across all event materials and experiences
  • Supervise and mentor junior events staff or coordinators
  • Identify opportunities to enhance event engagement, innovation, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies, risk management standards, and industry regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-9 years of progressive experience in event management, corporate events, or marketing events
  • Experience managing end-to-end logistics, including vendor coordination, budgeting, and contract negotiation
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High-energy, service-oriented mindset focused on delivering exceptional experiences
