Role Description
Our Senior Events Manager are responsible for creating memorable and pleasant events for their
clients. They oversee the entirety of the event production, from initial concept
development to execution and post-event evaluation such as planning, coordinating, and
executing a wide range of events, from corporate conferences and product launches to
social gatherings and exhibitions. This role requires strategic oversight, budget
management, vendor coordination, and on-site leadership to ensure seamless event
delivery aligned with organizational goals ensuring that the event starts and finishes
according to plans and budget projections.
Key Responsibilities
1) Event Planning & Strategy
o Develop event concepts, timelines, and execution plans based on client or company objectives.
o Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed events.
2) Budget & Financial Oversight
o Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
o Liaise and negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to finalize contracts and secure services
o Develop detailed event plans, monitor budgets and ensure all aspects of the event stay within financial and logistical constraints
3) Logistics & Coordination
o Schedule and conduct meetings with clients to understand event objectives and preferences
o Oversee venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation arrangements
o Create and adhere to event timelines, ensuring critical milestones are met and all preparatory tasks are completed on schedule
o Manage event registration, ticketing platforms, and attendee communications
4) Team & Vendor Management
o Lead internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality events
o Supervise event staff, volunteers, and third-party service providers
5) Marketing & Promotion
o Ensure brand consistency across all event materials and experiences.
6) On-Site Execution
o Serve as the primary point of contact during events, ensuring smooth operations
o Troubleshoot issues in real-time and adapt to changing circumstances
o Supervise event setup and on-site staff, coordinating activities to ensure seamless execution and address any issues that arise
7) Post-Event Reporting
• Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and prepare performance reports
• Recommend improvements for future events
Qualifications
- Event planning and coordination skills, including experience managing conferences, seminars, and live productions.
- Knowledge of technical event production elements such as stage setup, lighting, audio, and visual systems.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the capacity to handle on-site challenges calmly and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure high-quality, error-free event execution.
- Proficiency with common office and planning tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, scheduling tools).
- Prior experience in event management, AV production, or a related field; experience in the local Bangkok events market is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Business, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
- Professional fluency in Thai; English language skills are an advantage for local coordination.
