Solten is an international group specialised in linguistic and event management services. For our European Operation Center in Prague, we are currently looking for a Senior Events Coordinator.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Solten Group has been organising meetings, conferences, seminars and field visits for international clients all around the world. Our clients are currently mostly international organisations, the United Nations, European Agencies and Governments.

We have organised international meetings and conferences for 20 to 1,200 participants, in more than 60 countries on all continents including DRC, Nepal, Fiji, Zambia, UAE, Cameroon, Brazil, Colombia, Uzbekistan, Uganda, Mexico, French Caribbean, etc.

In order for our clients to focus on the content of their events, we take care of all organisational, logistics and travel management aspects. The scope of our work is different for each event but can include accommodation, catering, flights, local transportation, meeting rooms, audiovisual, hostesses, security, interpretation, translation, transcription, virtual event & app, communication, visuals, decoration, goodies, etc.

Joining our team as a Senior Events Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Selecting and negotiating suppliers for events and travel services worldwide: venue and accommodation, catering, audiovisual, flights and ground transportation, etc.;

• Preparing technical and financial offers for meetings/conferences and corporate travel;

• Managing the project preparation and the coordination with the clients’ team;

• Managing the larger events on-site (anywhere around the world)-‐, and smaller meetings remotely;

• Responding swiftly and effectively to ad-hoc requests:

• Closing the projects with the clients and ensuring the clients’ satisfaction.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH:

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is required;

• Another fluent language (Spanish, Arabic, French or Russian) is encouraged but not mandatory;

• 3 – 5+ years of experience in Event Management or Corporate Travel Management;

• Strong negotiation and communication skills;

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail;

• Proven ability to prioritise tasks and stay calm under pressure;

• Based in Prague, possibility of occasional international travels.
