Overview
The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Room Attendant – Penthouse Specialist to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
The Room Attendant – Penthouse Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, especially the 2 story Penthouse, ensuring a luxurious experience for guests. This role requires passion for service, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. This role will adhere to the proper standards and compliance with Forbes Five-Star service requirements. This position will report to the Housekeeping Leadership
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the 2 story Penthouse, all of its guest rooms and entertainment center, including bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, balconies, movie theater, fitness center, and in some cases, pantries and kitchens
- Communicate and collaborate with respective departments to ensure all areas in the 2 story Penthouse are working properly
- Discover opportunities to personalize and enhance the guest experience for guests occupying the space
- Conduct inventory of linen and items of the space to ensure it is replenished properly
- Conduct walkthrough with Leadership Team
- Carries out any other cleaning duties as specified by Housekeeping Leadership
Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail
- Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
- Physical demands: Ability to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis and prolonged extended periods of standing
