Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Room Attendant and Janitor to join our team in Banjul, The Gambia. This on-site role involves day-to-day responsibilities such as cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, laundering linens, ensuring a presentable and welcoming environment, and offering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate’s work will play a key role in providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and home-like experience.
Requirements
– Education: O-Level (Grade 12) certificate.
– Skills: Must be able to read and write effectively.
– Language: Must be fluent in English
– At least 1 year experience
– Must not be below 18 years old at the time of applying
Job Responsibilities:
1. Room Attendant
– Detailed cleaning of guest apartments and rooms.
– Making beds and replenishing linens daily.
– Sanitizing bathrooms and restoring guest supplies.
– Cleaning verandas, windows, and reception/stair areas.
– Ironing washed bedding to ensure a crisp, professional look.
2. Janitor
– Maintaining and cleaning all common areas.
– Mopping floors and ensuring surfaces are spotless.
– Timely trash removal and waste management.
– Cleaning ground-floor windows, verandas, and the rooftop.
– Ensuring the exterior premises remain tidy and welcoming.
– Sweeping the car park
– Watering Flowers
