Responsibilities
- Report to Front Desk at beginning of shift, pick up key, and return key at end of shift
- Ability to follow shift checklist and accurately record notes throughout your shift
- Clean and maintain any and all assigned rooms and suites daily, including bed stripping, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, checking of room lights, television, spot cleaning, and stocking all room supplies
- Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers
- Keep all doors closed when cleaning for safety and security purposes
- Report any items missing from rooms and suites
- Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work
- All lost and found are to be taken to the office as soon as they are found and not at the end of one’s shift
- Vacuum floors, clean bathrooms and common areas
- Stock own cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for shift
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Must have a knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors
- Ability to accurately report information
- Attend required meetings
- Ability to remain calm and alert, especially during emergencies or heavy hotel activity

- Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests, vendors, and other associates
- Adhere to all applicable Federal, state, and local laws, and safety/health standards
- Ability to remain calm and alert, especially during emergencies or heavy hotel activity

Position Requirements
- Must have the ability to work as a team and treat others with respect
- Must remain awake and alert during entirety of shift
- Must maintain excellent attendance and punctuality record
- Minimum lifting, pushing, and pulling of 30 pounds
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity, hearing, writing, and typing
- Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor and or General Manager
