Job Overview
Hotel Housekeeping Room Attendant plays a critical role in the overall guest experience by preparing guestrooms that are clean, comfortable, well maintained, and serviced according to company specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Project a positive image
- Greets all guests
- Cleans up to 15 room credits per shift
- Re‑stocks guestroom amenities
- Segregates dirty or damaged linen and terry items
- Recovers lost‑and‑found items
- Disseminates information to guests regarding the property, hotel, promotions, etc.
- Performs turndown service (2nd shift)
- Performs routine maintenance on vacuum cleaner
- Keeps storage areas and carts clean and orderly
- Works safely by observing safety rules and wearing proper equipment
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required, or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
- Must be nineteen (19) years of age or older
- Good verbal communication skills required (skills test will be administered)
- Six (6) month’s experience as a room attendant in a hotel/resort – preferred
- Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) lbs
- Ability to work in areas containing dust or on high floor; occasionally kneels, climbs, and crawls to work in difficult positions
- Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
- Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, etc.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to pass a physical fitness test if administered
- Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
- Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
