A Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. Servers act as the primary point of contact between customers and the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet guests promptly and courteously.
* Present menus and explain menu items, specials, and promotions.
* Take accurate food and beverage orders.
* Enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
* Serve food and drinks in a timely manner.
* Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
* Handle customer questions, concerns, and special requests professionally.
* Process payments and provide receipts.
* Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations.
* Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
* Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
* Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
* Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
