Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Restaurant Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring adherence to service standards. The role involves supervising front-of-house teams, providing coaching and feedback, and supporting hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training. The Restaurant Manager will monitor guest satisfaction, promptly address feedback or complaints, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities also include managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, tracking costs and revenue, and supporting promotional activities to drive sales and maintain profitability.
Qualifications
- Strong background in restaurant or hospitality operations, with experience overseeing daily service, staff performance, and guest satisfaction.
- Proven people leadership skills, including team supervision, coaching, conflict resolution, and the ability to foster an inclusive, respectful workplace.
- Operational and financial acumen, including basic budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and understanding of restaurant KPIs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations, and commitment to maintaining compliance.
- Prior experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar supervisory role in hospitality is strongly preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is an advantage; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
