Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Restaurant Manager role based in Calgary, AB. The Restaurant Manager oversees daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service, consistent food and beverage quality, and adherence to health and safety standards. Responsibilities include leading and coaching team members, creating schedules, supporting hiring and onboarding, and fostering a positive, guest-focused culture. The role manages guest relations by addressing feedback, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Restaurant Manager also collaborates with the culinary and bar teams on menu execution, monitors inventory and costs, supports revenue and labor management, and helps implement promotions and special events.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to drive Customer Satisfaction and deliver outstanding Customer Service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Experience in Hiring, training, and coaching diverse teams, with strong people leadership and performance management skills.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with guests, team members, and leadership.
- Solid understanding of Food & Beverage operations, including menu knowledge, service standards, and quality control.
- Previous experience as a restaurant manager or supervisor in full-service dining.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and consistency.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic reporting; comfortable with scheduling and inventory tools.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations; certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service is an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
