About warasaya
warasaya is an Indonesian–Japanese fusion restaurant that combines Japanese grilling techniques with bold Indonesian flavors and seasonings.
Our concept centers around charcoal grilling and open-fire cooking using seasonal Japanese ingredients, delivering a refined yet warm dining experience. We are building a kitchen team that values discipline, creativity, and consistency, while respecting both Japanese kitchen standards and Indonesian culinary heritage.
The menu features Indonesian classics — satay, rendang, nasi bakar, and grilled seafood — reimagined with premium Japanese produce, wagyu, and fresh local fish. Halal-friendly options are available, and our English-speaking staff welcomes international guests, business travelers, and tourists.

Role Overview
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for both front-of-house operations and hands-on service. This role works on the floor during service while also managing daily store operations, guest experience, and coordination with the kitchen.
Salary & Conditions
Starting Annual Salary: ¥4,000,000~ / year
The final salary will be determined based on skills and experience.
Probationary period will apply, with a monthly salary adjustment of ¥30,000
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Days: 5 days per week
Shifts: Rotational shifts covering lunch and dinner service
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience in restaurant or hospitality management
Business-level Japanese and/or English
Experience working in Japan
Strong understanding of Japanese customer service standards
Commitment to Long-term employment
Preferred
Conversational Indonesian
Experience with reservation systems and POS systems
Background in upscale or concept-driven restaurants
Key Responsibilities
Front-of-House Service (Hands-on)
Welcome, seat, and assist guests during service
Take orders and explain menu items clearly
Serve food and beverages accurately and efficiently
Handle payments and basic cashier operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Store Operations
Manage daily restaurant operations and service flow
Coordinate closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth service
Oversee opening and closing procedures
Handle reservations, seating flow, and guest requests
Guest Experience
Ensure a high standard of service and hospitality
Handle guest feedback, requests, and complaints professionally
Monitor service quality and take corrective action when needed
Team Coordination
Guide and support part-time or support hall staff if present
Ensure service SOP and rules are followed consistently
Foster a calm, professional, and positive service environment
Administration & Control
Support staff scheduling and shift coordination
Assist with FOH inventory (beverages, supplies)
Ensure accurate daily sales reporting and cash handling
Communicate operational issues to management
Hygiene & Compliance
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards in FOH areas
Follow safety and workplace rules
