Functions
On call requirements
Coordinates admissions to Residence with admissions and the Home Hospice team.
Orients and supervises clinical residence staff and volunteers at the residence. Completes employee evaluations according to policy.
Supervises housekeeping, quality control, maintenance and infection control of the hospice residence.
Coordinates staff any trainings and in-services for residence staff.
Coordinates with volunteer coordinator the training and screening of volunteers for hospice residence.
Keeps interdisciplinary team (IDT) informed of patient's condition and assist in coordinating the plan of care with the IDT.
Assists with direct care as necessary and documents care per policy.
Assists team members with problem solving regarding patients and families.
Supervises and maintains schedule for health, fire and safety, and infection control according to policies and procedures.
Schedules all staff and volunteers who work at the Residence.
Maintains records to comply with Department of Public Welfare (DPW) Personal Care State requirements/regulations as well as all Federal and State regulations.
Supervises regular fire drills and equipment maintenance checks at Residence.
Attends IDT meetings.
Coordinates all day to day functions to meet and maintain Pennsylvania Personal Care regulations for Personal Care licensure.
Maintains Personal Care Home Administrator Certification via continued education.
Provides tours to prospective residents/family members and to others who wish to see the Residence.
Performs financial assessments of potential residents when appropriate.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
PCH Administrator license and 1 year of PCH experience required
