Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Reservations Manager at York Hotel Singapore, located in the Orchard area. The Reservations Manager will handle the day-to-day operations of the reservations department, oversee room bookings, interact with guests to provide exceptional customer service, and collaborate with other departments to maximize occupancy and revenue. Additional responsibility include monitoring reservation systems, analyzing booking trends, implementing sales strategies, and training team members to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.

Duties & Responsibility

  • Manage room inventory, allocation, and availability to maximize utilization and revenue
  • Monitor booking trends, pace, and channel performance to support yield optimization
  • Apply selective selling strategies to evaluate and accept high-value bookings
  • Coordinate with Front Office on peak periods and oversell situations
  • Provide regular forecasts, reports, and reservation insights to Management
  • Work closely with Revenue Management on pricing, availability, and system controls
  • Handle guest enquiries, confirmations, feedback, and complaints professionally
