Role Description The Reservation Team Leader at Crowne Plaza Kochi is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This role is responsible for leading the reservations team to manage room bookings, group blocks, and special requests while ensuring accurate and timely processing in the hotel’s reservation systems. The Reservation Team Leader monitors daily reservation activities, optimizes room inventory and rate availability, and coordinates closely with front office, sales, and revenue management to support occupancy and revenue goals. Responsibilities include handling escalated guest inquiries, maintaining high standards of guest communication, and ensuring reservation policies and procedures are consistently followed. The role also involves training and coaching team members, overseeing quality of service, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of reservation processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proven Customer Service experience, with a focus on handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Background in Hospitality operations, ideally within hotels, including knowledge of reservation systems and front office coordination.
- Experience with Training team members, providing coaching, feedback, and support to develop performance and service standards.
- Understanding of Food & Beverage offerings to effectively communicate packages, inclusions, and event-related requirements.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role in reservations or front office is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
