Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Indore. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers, understanding their financial and protection needs, and recommending suitable life insurance and related solutions. The role includes generating new business through lead conversion, cross-selling and upselling, conducting need-based assessments, and supporting customers throughout the policy lifecycle. Daily activities involve meeting clients, explaining product features, preparing proposals, assisting with documentation and underwriting requirements, and ensuring timely policy issuance and servicing. The Relationship Manager will also collaborate with internal teams, participate in local sales campaigns, track performance against targets, and uphold regulatory and company compliance standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Strong relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust, listen actively, and provide clear, empathetic guidance to diverse customers.
  • Sales and business development capabilities, including prospecting, lead nurturing, negotiation, and goal-oriented execution in a target-driven environment.
  • Understanding of financial products, preferably life insurance, with the ability to conduct basic needs analysis and explain product benefits and risks in simple terms.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills in verbal and written English; proficiency in local languages for the Indore region is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple client interactions, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently.
  • Comfort using digital tools and CRM or sales systems for tracking leads, customer interactions, and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance or financial services are beneficial.
  • Prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services sales is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn and complete required regulatory and product training is essential.
