As part of our expansion, we are launching an exclusive luxury chocolate gifting brand and are looking for a visionary chocolatier to lead this exciting venture from the ground up.
We are seeking a highly experienced and creative R&D Lead Chocolatier to build and lead our new luxury chocolate division. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about artisanal chocolate craftsmanship and product innovation to create a premium chocolate brand from scratch.
Experience in chocolate making is compulsory — specifically in bonbons, pralines, truffles & coated chocolates.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up the chocolate production facility, kitchen workflow, and operational systems from scratch
- Lead end-to-end R&D, recipe development, and product innovation
- Conduct product trials and develop premium chocolate collections
- Source high-quality raw materials, ingredients, and packaging
- Establish quality control and production standards
- Recruit, train, and manage a specialized chocolate production team
- Develop seasonal collections, gifting concepts, and signature products
- Ensure consistency, hygiene, and international-quality finishing standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chocolatier or R&D Chocolatier in premium/luxury chocolate production
- Strong expertise in:
- Bonbons
- Pralines
- Truffles
- Coated chocolates
- Experience setting up or managing chocolate production operations is highly preferred
- Creative mindset with strong understanding of flavor pairing and luxury presentation
- Leadership and team management experience
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
