Position: Meal Program Facilitator at Indwell
Join Indwell as a Meal Program Facilitator and help create nutritious meals for local programs in London. Prepare and deliver 150-200 daily meals while ensuring food security and community support.
As a key team member in this part-time role, you will work under the Food Program Coordinator to enhance meal programs for individuals facing housing instability and health challenges. Your responsibilities include collaborating on meal preparation, managing deliveries, and ensuring safe food handling in our commercial kitchen. We value your creativity in developing culturally appropriate meals that address the needs of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare daily nutritious meals for local programs
• Deliver meals using the Indwell delivery van safely
• Support inventory management and reduce food waste
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
• Engage with residents and staff with hospitality
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume kitchen
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices
• First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and drive a delivery van
