A well-established and internationally recognized company in the airline catering industry
- Lead and manage all food production and meal assembly operations within the airline catering facility.
- Oversee the preparation, portioning, packaging, and staging of meals for airline customers.
- Ensure all production activities are executed according to operational schedules, customer specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate large teams operating across a 24/7 environment with multiple shifts.
- Monitor daily production plans and ensure on-time delivery of meals to flight catering operations.
- Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across all production areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Planning, Logistics, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure seamless workflow and service delivery.
- Manage staffing levels, workforce allocation, and shift coverage according to operational needs.
- Develop, coach, and evaluate supervisors and team members to build a high-performing production team.
- Analyze operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor production costs, waste levels, and resource utilization to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure a safe working environment and promote a strong culture of safety and accountability
Requirements
- Significant experience in a Production Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or similar senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large operational teams in food production, airline catering, industrial catering, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar high-volume environments.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead through multiple management layers and shifts.
- Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning, process management, and operational efficiency.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an advantage.
- Fluent English communication skills
