Dinos Catering is looking for a Banquet Cook to join our kitchen
staff.
Responsibilities
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting
meat etc.)
Cooking foods by a variety of methods. (sauting, roasting, steaming, etc.)
Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
Maintain a clean workstation.
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
Monitor stock and report shortages to the chef.
Sterilize kitchen equipment at the end of your shift.
Requirements
Cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
Experience in using cutting tools and cookware.
Some knowledge of cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling,
saut and pan fry.)
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Good communication skills.
Team Spirit
Availability to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Required qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred qualifications:
- 18 years or older
