This position requires adhering to production sheets and recipes while monitoring food quality. You will prepare meals tailored to prescribed diets and assist in orientation for new team members. In the absence of the team leader, you’ll manage departmental operations, ensuring optimal service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up equipment and supplies for meal prep
• Prepare meals according to recipes and production sheets
• Monitor quality of food supplies received
• Assume departmental responsibility in team leader’s absence
• Train and orient new kitchen team members
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate
• Experience in health care or hospitality settings
• Positive attitude towards team goals
• Successful Vulnerable Sector Check for Ontario applicants
