Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Outlet/Restaurant Manager role based at Magnolia Bakery India in Bengaluru/Mumbai. The Outlet/Restaurant Manager will oversee daily store operations, including staff scheduling, floor management, quality control, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. This role involves leading and motivating the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring a welcoming guest experience, and promptly addressing customer feedback. The manager will be responsible for hiring and training team members, managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and monitoring sales performance and costs. The role also includes maintaining brand standards, implementing promotions, supporting local marketing initiatives, and ensuring the outlet consistently reflects Magnolia Bakery’s service and product excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and maintain a guest-centric environment.
- Experience in Hiring, training, and supervising teams in a restaurant, café, or retail food & beverage setting.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear, respectful interaction with guests, team members, and cross-functional partners.
- Hands-on experience in Food & Beverage operations, including product knowledge, food safety, hygiene, and quality control.
- Previous experience as an outlet/restaurant manager or supervisor, preferably in a bakery, café, or premium F&B brand.
- Proven ability to manage shifts, control costs, oversee inventory, and meet sales and operational targets.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Comfort using basic POS systems and standard productivity tools; familiarity with reporting and basic data analysis is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in hospitality, hotel management, business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by outlet operations.
