We’re hiring an Operations & Community Coordinator to join a fast-growing, community-driven business that operates at the intersection of operations, events, partnerships, and content. You’ll work closely with the founder and become a critical part of the business’s operational backbone — helping coordinate projects, manage community experiences, support marketing initiatives, and ensure that nothing slips through the cracks. Job Summary / Role Overview
Why this role exists
The founder is currently balancing multiple areas of the business across operations, partnerships, events, marketing, and community management. This role exists to provide operational leverage and execution support — allowing the founder to focus on high-impact strategic priorities.
You’ll be responsible for keeping projects moving, coordinating communication, supporting the community experience, and ensuring operational consistency across the business. Success in this role requires someone who is highly dependable, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
This is primarily an execution-focused role initially, but there is strong long-term growth potential for someone who demonstrates ownership, operational thinking, and a passion for improving systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Community Coordination
- Coordinate and manage events from planning through post-event delivery
- Ensure all event communications, branding, and announcements follow a consistent format
- Monitor registration and attendance metrics and proactively flag risks or concerns
- Manage attendee communication before and after events
- Support smooth execution of virtual and in-person events
- Coordinate logistics including scheduling, venue communication, catering, and event support
- Produce post-event content including recordings, summaries, transcripts, and uploads
- Maintain organised event and content archives
Community Support
- Manage member support requests, subscriptions, and access-related queries
- Support onboarding experiences for new members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date community records and engagement tracking
- Monitor community activity and escalate important issues when needed
- Ensure community data remains organised across platforms and systems
Marketing & Content Support
- Manage the community newsletter process from content gathering through scheduling and publishing
- Draft and schedule LinkedIn content aligned with the company brand and tone
- Repurpose event and community content into engaging social posts and updates
- Track and report on basic marketing and engagement metrics
- Coordinate Member Spotlight initiatives including outreach and scheduling
- Support website content updates where required
Partnership & Operations Support
- Maintain partnership trackers and lead databases
- Research prospective partners and support outreach initiatives
- Help coordinate partner-led collaborations and deliverables
- Monitor operational deadlines and proactively flag risks before they become issues
- Assist with reporting, insights, invoicing support, and light operational administration
Founder Support
- Follow up proactively on approvals, reviews, and pending actions
- Maintain visibility across key business priorities and content schedules
- Create operational clarity and help reduce founder bottlenecks
Required Qualifications / What We’re Looking For
Experience & Background
- 2–5 years of experience in operations, community management, marketing, executive assistance, or similar coordination-focused roles
- Experience working within startups, agencies, or fast-paced small teams
- Experience supporting founders or senior leadership teams is highly advantageous

Tools & Systems
Proficiency with Notion is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
The successful candidate must be highly confident using Notion for operational management, documentation, task tracking, database management, workflow organization, and cross-functional coordination within a fast-paced environment.

- Exposure to partnerships, business development, or stakeholder coordination
- Familiarity with Zapier, Make, Mailchimp, Beehiiv, Substack, or CRM tools
- Experience working across distributed or international teams
- Comfortable appearing on camera or supporting event hosting
- Understanding of operational automations and workflow optimisation
