Producer & Roaster Forum (PRF) and Global Coffee Awards (GCA) are seeking an Operations and Events Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for this role is exceptionally organised, proactive, communicative, and comfortable working in fast-paced, busy environments. The successful candidate will support the COO directly while serving as a key liaison between operations, sales, marketing, and execution.
We are offering this role on a permanent/full-time basis. The position is fully remote and suited only for a bilingual candidate (English and Spanish) based in Latin America.
As part of the team for one of the world’s leading coffee industry events, you will:
Key Responsibilities
- Support the COO with operational coordination, administrative management, and project follow-up across PRF and GCA.
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication between departments to ensure smooth execution of projects and events.
- Assist with sales and partner coordination, including follow-ups, database management, sponsor communication, and internal tracking.
- Coordinate with suppliers, exhibitors, judges, sponsors, and strategic partners regarding logistics, requirements, and event deliverables.
- Track submissions, forms, deadlines, and operational workflows related to competitions and events.
- Assist with travel coordination and logistics for team members, speakers, judges, and guests as needed.
- Translate content as required.
- Attend international events as a core part of the on-the-ground team.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, events, operations, administration, or similar roles.
- Comfortable working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and operational mindset.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills; comfortable speaking with diverse partners and clients.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in organisational and project management tools and systems.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, project management systems, and digital collaboration tools (G Suite or Microsoft Office).
Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting executive-level management
- Experience in the specialty coffee industry
How to Apply

Team members are expected to attend events on-site, often arriving in advance to support setup, logistics, and operational coordination. Occasional pre-event short trip visits to the venue or other relevant locations may also be required.
