We are looking for a reliable and friendly Night Porter to join our team at The Mitre Hotel in Manchester city centre. The role also includes cross-training and shifts at our sister property, The Black Lion Hotel.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in hospitality, can work confidently overnight, and takes pride in providing good customer service.
Main Duties
Welcoming late arrivals and assisting guests during the night
Carrying out regular security and fire safety checks around the hotel
Handling guest enquiries and resolving issues professionally
Taking payments, responding to emails and reviews
Completing the housekeeping cleaning sheet for the next morning
Working across both hotel properties when required
What We’re Looking For
Friendly and professional attitude
Reliable and able to work independently
Good communication and customer service skills
Previous reception or night porter experience preferred
Flexible and willing to learn both properties
