The Housekeeper/Cleaner reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Lead Hand, focusing on cleanliness and guest satisfaction during the 10:30 pm to 7:00 am shift. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of washrooms, floors, and carpet shampooing, alongside effective communication via radio with team members. Prior experience in cleaning is a valuable asset, as you maintain health and safety protocols throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain all front and back areas of the casino
• Shampoo carpets and ensure garbage removal
• Communicate effectively with staff via two-way radio
• Report equipment issues to supervisory staff
• Adhere to WHMIS and safety policies
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Familiar with biohazard clean-up protocols
• Willingness to work in a smoking environment
