Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining the security and accuracy of hotel records. This position offers an opportunity to work in an energetic environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, strong customer service abilities, and proficiency with multi-line phone systems.
Duties
- Perform nightly audit procedures to verify and balance hotel financial transactions.
- Greet guests arriving during overnight hours with professionalism and courtesy.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to respond to guest inquiries and internal communications.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, billing, and other administrative tasks.
- Address guest concerns promptly and elevate issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises during overnight hours.
- Prepare reports for management regarding occupancy, revenue, and other operational metrics.
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hotel front office is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality standards and guest services.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hotel management software or property management systems is advantageous.
- Prior experience working night shifts in a hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour
